The Horses are all chosen very carefully

They must be fit for walk, trot and canter work with no lameness issues

Ideally, but not essential they will be able to perform a simple dressage test - ie Prelim level

All ponies ideally go through a trial period where they will be worked by the staff and tried out in sessions They will also be hacked out and possibly jumped depending on the pony and its ability

All must be a minimum of 5yrs and ideally not more than 14yrs

The pony must be safe in and around the yard, in the field and have no vices - crib biting, weaving, kicking etc. Also good to shoe, clip and travel

The pony must be good on and off the lead rein

Before any purchase is made a 5 stage vetting will be carried out

We like them to have been to shows - pony club activities etc so we know they will be safe if we take them out.

If your pony came on loan to us a formal contract will be drawn up and arrangements agreed by both parties

We rarely sell on our ponies - they really do have a great home for life
